The tower is an ancient defensive structure, built in the late 16th century, in a wonderful position in the middle of the beautiful Gulf of Salerno. It is located just a few minutes away from the world-famous archaeological site of Paestum. The rocky reefs below the property are the beginning of the Coast of Cilento with its breath-taking views, rocky caves, superlative seafood restaurants and many beautiful small villages such as Palinuro, Acciaroli and Maratea. Additionally, you will be only thirty minutes away from the Amalfi Coast, one of the most popular tourist destinations of Italy, with its own villages (Amalfi, Positano, Ravello, Vietri etc,) where you will discover the traditional beauty of the south, preserved through the centuries.

The property lies in a park, rich in palms and thousands of typical Mediterranean plants and trees. Another feature to make this property unique is its private beach, including an existing beach-resort on the property. This is very rare, since Italian law usually denies private landowning of beach areas and only made possible thanks to previously existing property rights. The part nearest to the sea is only steps away from water and it is dedicated to secluded sun bathes. Sunsets are wonderful as the sun disappears behind Capri and delineates the island’s shape on its large red image, made even grander by the reflections of red, purple and pink shades on the water. Allow us to amaze you with the beauty of the traditional handmade Vietri tiles, with a masterpiece in the “Sun Room”, a round domed bedroom with en-suite bathroom, featuring an astrological map painted on the tiles. An amazing work of colour and design, which brings the warm, serene embrace of summer inside the room before you even open the windows!

The other house needs to be restored and allows to more than double the living quarters already existing in the tower. The private beach comes with a flourishing commercial beach resort on it, but you will not be hearing any noise other than the waves crashing on the reef, thanks to the shape of the coast between the park and the beach.
